What we collect, and only when you send it
We collect nothing automatically. The only personal information we hold from this website is what you type into an enquiry form and send us: your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, and the message you write.
Why we use it
To reply to you and to arrange the collection or service you are asking about. That is the only reason. Our lawful basis is that the information is needed to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering an enquiry you chose to send us.
Who else sees it
Your message is delivered to our own inboxes by Resend, an email delivery service, and this website is hosted by Vercel. Both process the information only to deliver it to us. Our pages load typefaces and some assets from Google Fonts and Framer, which means those services receive your IP address when a page loads, as they would for any website using them.
We do not sell your information, we do not share it for marketing, and we do not pass it to anyone else unless the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no tracking of any kind, which is why you have not been asked to accept anything.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and to keep proper business records, and we delete them when they are no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us using it. Email info@wmartinandson.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If we change how this website handles your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
